do i need this 'new' update or FlashPlayer for I.E.

I am using Google Chrome as my browser and never use Internet Explorer although it 'is' available to load if i wanted to use I.E.
However just now have important update (see below) ... do i still need to install this update ? thanks in advance .. here is the download:
