Firefox to enter Signed Extension dead end like MaxThon

Hmm, I hope it doesn't go the way of MaxThon with only the few writing extensions:

I actually like this movement. I want things signed. I barely use any extension in the first place in Firefox. I can even list them as follows:
-LastPass
-Personas Plus

From Apps
-Norton Toolbar
-Skype CLick to Call
-WebSling Player


I don't mind if all of them are signed. I want Microsoft to follow as well with their new browser system.

Since you don't use many extensions you don't feel any dependency. Even more than extensions I notice hotkeys are very addictive. They become a reflex so that If I don't have them running, like on a new install, I find myself hitting them anyway.

You may want to try MxNitro. It has no extensions at all. In fact I haven't even found a way to put my bookmarks toolbar on the toolbars. But it does have 4 processes running just sitting at the home page with nothing happening. Kind of like the definition of getting nowhere fast.

Mozilla makes it official. If an extension is not signed it will not run on FF v. 41+
