The Dell rep definitely was referring to my free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Spyware terminator. I gave him full access tp my computer so he can take a look to see what was wrong with it and thats when he notice the freebies on there and told me that they were no good. I like how you referred to the all-in-one type utility programs that fix issues with one magical button. Thats a good way to look at them.

Whats brand is your hardware? I feel like I should have listen to the salesperson in best buy when he told me not to purchase Monitors from Dell, that they are not that great like before. I feel they rig their software for failure so that you can call them every second and they can try to get you to buy their software warranty or a one time fixture service purchase. I got the death blue screen so my computer is out. I'm surprise they didn't charge me for the whole operating system software they are going to send me.

This is the blue death screen I'm referring too. Unfortunately, I don't have any software to repair or restored it back to its normal stage.

The "my system specs" link at the bottom can show you what hardware I'm using.

If you like, you could download an ISO file using OPTION ONE below to create a bootable UEFI USB with.

Luckily, on OEM PC's that came with Windows 8 preinstalled, your product key will be embedded in the motherboard's UEIF firmware chip, and will be automatically detected and used during installation.

If you can get your PC to boot, then you could also use Option 5, 6, or 7 in the tutorial below to get your key.

I think I might have an issue here, I have two old laptops and they currently running on Windows xp and vista. I got a pop up when attempting to download the windows media tool on my old laptop. Is there any other options for me?Click image for larger version

Do you have a friend with at least a Windows 7 PC that will let you download it from?

I suppose I can go to the library as my friends currently at moment are all working, school, or busy somewhere.

So I manage to get the software into my usb. Trying to setup windows and I'm being ask for the windows product key, I try bypassing this option by choosing other options such as restoring or repairing your pc but it was all useless, I figure I give it a try.

Since this is a brand new PC, you might consider taking it back to either exchange it or get a refund.
