Between Firefox & Chrome Which Do You Prefer?

For the longest time IE has been my exclusive browser. I played with Firefox quite a few years ago but it has been so long I don't really remember much about it and I have never used Chrome much less installed it. I would like to have a second browser installed just so I can have some redundancy as well as something new and I have decided between Chrome and Firefox.

Really looking for things like Ease of Install, Ease of Use

Just curious what others prefer between the 2.

    Thanks

I personally prefer FireFox. Nothing against Chrome but just prefer FF.

Been using FireFox since it was invented. Tried Chrome once but it was too picky for me. Used IE for a couple of years back around 1998 but happily went to FireFox when it came along.

FF, using it ever since that fox stuck it's tail in the fire. To me, it's easier to use, better range of addons and less of a resource hog. Have to be careful with addons though, some of them like to break plugin container and stop them.

    Thanks for the replies.

I went ahead and installed FF. Only used it a little bit so far but I like it and it seems fairly straightforward. Funny that I had not given it some time before now but I guess it's habit to stick with what you're used to.

Enable Menu Bar, it's easier like that.

If you tire of FF, try---

Opera browser - The fast, safe web browser - Download free

    Very stable.

    Firefox is an excellent choice.

One week I like FF, then Chrome, then Opera then .......................................

The main problem seems to be a compatibility issue. I use FF on my laptop with 8.1, but not on my pc with 8.1; its somehow different. Also both my machines are 64 bit and FF is not. At present I am on Pale Moon, a derivative of FF, but thinking of changing (again), one browser is pretty much the same as others and I cant make up my mind. There are advantages and disadvantages in all. Is there ONE damn browser that is 100% with 8.1 ???

None with anything is 100% as far as I have seen, each one has it's own "personality".
