Using memory is good. That's why it's in the machine. Nobody buys it to let it sit empty.

Well, with 500Gbs of memory, maybe Jason hasn't a problem as such!!!!! But it does seem to contradict one of Sinofsky's outstanding claims:

The usage is normal on a modern system with a modern browser. I don't see the problem. It depends what sites are open in tabs (some sites eat more mem than others), how many tabs you have and how many plugins (like Flash and Silverlight) are running in the background.
Too bad I got no screenshot on this but 1gb consumption with more than 20 tabs on ie9 and 1.5gb on firefox10 was easily achieved on my machine.
