What hanky-panky are they trying to pull now?

I just noticed that my Metro All-Apps screen (which I hardly ever use anyway) contains only one Internet Explorer icon--the Metro IE. It has no icon for the Desktop IE at all.

I do everything from the desktop, and when I open a web page it uses the desktop IE, which I set as the "default program". So the program is present, but it's omitted from the All-Apps screen--which is supposed to show ALL apps. Apparently MS is still determined to push everyone out of the Desktop and into their Metro-Land Amusement Park.

Thanks. I do have it on my Desktop. I didn't mean that it was causing me any problem, I was just commenting on the way MS is trying to suppress the Desktop version of IE by removing it from the All-Apps screen, because they want everyone to use Metro apps instead.

What Microsoft is trying to do is create a single version of Windows that will work on all platforms. It will take some tweaking on your part to work the way you want it. You will like Windows 10 when it comes out.
