I have two tabs onen in IE 11, is using up to 75% of CPU

My computer is running very slow. I have run scans with various anti-virus/malware programs but I still have very slow performance as my CPU in task manager is running from 90%-99%.
Any suggestions as to what could be the reason?

How to know that if you don't say anything about computer in question ? It depends a lot if not all of HW used.

    How do you do that?

How do you do those two things? But again why would IE be using so much CPU?

What programs are you running on the open tabs ? Flash, etc. Is this a recent problem or regular issue ?

As Edwin states, disable all unnecessary programs. Also, use the below site to compare the A300's performance.

I do not know what is unnecessary at startup. Buy my CPU runs in the high 90's and now I have only 2 tabs open. I look at Task Manager and see all the processes running but even then I do not know which ones are necessary or not.

I am currently looking at task manager and even though only two tabs open in IE, the CPU usage ranges from 86% to 52%. Why would IE use so much of the CPU? I hope that someone can help.

Ok I rebooted my computer and did not open any browsers and my computer is still running at times at 99%. Looking at the task manager I see that Windows Modules Installer Wor... is running at 50% of the CPU. Just adding more information.

It's a CPU limitation rather than Windows programs. AMD is only scoring at around 622 passmark scores which is worse than a Pentium D CPU that was released a decade ago. Cleaning install windows might get you a snappier performance, but any load will cause the CPU usage to go really high.
