Am I the only one that has to keep Task Manager open to refresh IE 11, keeps freezing Task Manager is the only way to refresh it?
I do keep 6 tabs open, mostly Forums and Facebook. Facebook seems to be the worst offender but the forums can also lockup all of IE 11.
This happen one notebook with 8.1.1 and one workstation with 8.1.1 my other workstation has win 7 still, but I don't do internet on it, so don't know if it freezes.

Not sure, but you might try disabling add-ons that are not needed for your particular browsing session. I find IE 11 runs smoother if Flash is disabled. It is an inconvenience to turn back on, but worth the effort in my opinion.

Checked your specs. Nice setup. How do you like your ASUS ? I may be looking for a laptop, just basic system, nothing like yours.

Every time I used IE 11 it prompted me to disable add-ons.

Well after 2 RMA the first was a simple make the right side speaker work (They Didn't) the second trip in they changed just about everything MB Keyboard Track pad and cables, I had the support of one of there CL Customer Loylaty Rep working with me on it. Its been perfect ever since about a year now.

Actually IE 11 just sucks for me I run 6 and more sometimes Tabs and I don't want to turn off my Add on, I use my Adobe Add IN. RoboForm, Goggle, so I don't want to turn them off and on. I guess I'll try Opera, I don't like Chrome, Looks to me like we need a work around to go back to IE 8 or 9 I don't remember having to many issues with those versions.

I have been using IE11 more & more lately, fits Win 8 like a glove, like it ! IE11 has a auto-refresh 'feature' (no manual refresh) don't like that, still use Chrome some :geek:
