    WinKey/X > Power user context menu appears > Choose programs and Features > Choose turn Windows features on or off > Check checkbox Internet Explorer 11 > Press OK.

    When you didn't answer the question after the update it's no longer an added feature. System wise it's no longer considered a listed program, but rather a feature.

    Run this SFC /SCANNOW Command - Run in Windows 8

    If it can't fix on the first try then the store may be corrupt. Run DISM - Fixing Component Store Corruption in Windows 8

    Then run scannow again at least until all is fixed. This will take a while.
