Try open file location via my way should open it in File Explorer. Right click the.exe there. What do you get?

There may be something wrong with your context menu.

Go to Apps screen (Start Screen > Ctrl/Tab) and look under I for Iexplore (not Internet Explorer). Right click and choose "Pin to Taskbar".

Er, that's not the way this forum works if you haven't noticed. This is not a solo forum, for there are many members. Besides that we posted just about the same time, so I didn't see yours not that it would've mattered. Also, yours was completely different.

iexplore is the desktop version. Internet Explorer is the Modern version. I have both on my Apps screen. I should think you have also.
