trying to find 32bit version of silverlight

I'm trying to find the 32bit version of silverlight as my primary browser cant support the 64 bit version of silverlight.

can someone toss me a link to the 32 bit installer?

Thought Silverlight was just an optional update ? Not necessarily needed ?

ok..that link takes me to the 64bit version, both chrome and firefox need the 32 bit edition...

But why do they need it ?

I run Chrome, no issues, and installed Silverlight through windows update.

Can`t tell whether it`s 32 or 64 bit, it`s just listed in Add Remove programs.
