    Adobe Flash

I tried to go to my favorite online slot site Hit it Rich and a banner at the top said I couldn't load the game because my flash was out of date. So I downloaded from the banner and my virus detector immediate found a virus, Trojan. It is quarantined. So what's the scoop? How can I get Adobe flash? Is there other flash programs or do I have to stop playing on Hit it Rich because it can't load without it.

It is best to never download anything based on an advertisement and only download from the author. Those flashing ads telling you to download are normally malware.

If you have Windows 8.1 as indicated, Flash is integrated in the OS and is updated thru Windows Updates. Check for Windows Updates to verify.

If your Flash is not working properly, reset IE 11. Internet Options/Advanced/Reset

I would also run a complete scan with your AV and a secondary scan by Hitman Pro.

Good job by your AV. What is the name of the AV ?

I use Immunet, but I was told that ASUS computers come with AV installed, but I wasn't sure so I have Immunet 3 free,

    Flash should work then.

    edit---

I just tested YouTube with IE 11.

As I thought the video was HTML5.

I think one time I had to install an HTML5 plug-in. Can't remember.
