I have passwords saved on a Chrome account, and while attempting to log-in to a certain web site I was informed of a Sync data issue and would therefore have to enter my email address & password going into saved passwords via the settings menu I realised all saved passwords were gone. I have tried both the default and custom settings in the Sync dialogue without success. I followed this by trying Update & Recovery I chose the 'Refresh' option wanting to leave the Documents folder containing 'mkv's, mp3's & jpg's' untouched but, it still wont save passwords is it possible that there could reside in this documents folder corrupt data being the only folder to have followed on from the previous uninstall/install I believe I had about fifty passwords half of them very important if anyone can post a fix, short of a complete format I would be so grateful. I am using Chrome 38.0.2125.111, & Windows 8.1 Thankyou.
