whenever a second screen opens in IE10, and you want to close it, Windows always asks "Close all Tabs" and everytime one has to change this in "Close Current Tab".
I want the Close Current Tab to be the default forever.
if I close the little x of the 2d screen (where you do not have the possibility to go back to the previous screen), then the question "Clos all tabs" or Close Current Tab pop in. When I hit this little x, I stay on the second screen.
When I hit CRTL + W I get SETTINGS, so leaving IE.
When I go to the taskbar, mouse on IE then one gets all the screens that are open and one can choose, but I just want to close that what I no longer need.
Include a printscreen to make myself more clear.
On the bottom you see the 3 screens open in IE, I want to close the right one with one click, if ever
In your screenshot, you have 2 opened IE10 windows. One IE window with 1 tab for "how to change....", and a second IE window with 2 tabs for "Alpari UK...." and "Dometic.com.....".
It looks like you are clicking on the X at the top right corner of IE to close the IE instead of just the "Dometic.com....." tab in that IE window. The screenshots below will show you how to only close a single current tab in a IE window if that is what you mean.
To click on the small X in the tab itself to only close that tab in the IE window:
To click on the IE icon on the taskbar, then move the pointer to the top right corner of the "Dometic.com....." taskbar thumbnail preview, and click on the small X in that appears at the top right corern to only close that tab in the IE window.
If this is not what you are wanting, then please just let me know with more details.
