    Credential Manager

So if I have a site and want to save the password, and windows 8 is not giving me the prompt to save it, is there a way to manually add it?

Depends on what browser you're using.
With IE, Windows will store it but you have to set it to prompt you:

Internet Explorer 11 Store your Passwords - Turn On or Off

Most other browsers store credentials in their own container.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it is set up that way, and it works for all sites except one. I have the remember me checked on the site, but it never stores the password. I'm using IE, and the site is this one, eightforums. My chrome browser works for it, but IE does not.

    Edit for more info

I am guessing I choose to never remember this site at one time, because it works fine for all other websites.

    Hello Dude,

The "Remember me" check box is to allow the site to place a cookie on your computer to remember your sign in credentials instead. If you have cookies enabled for the browser and/or site, then it should remember for you.

Thanks Shawn, I edited my above post. It is weird because eightforums is the only site that my computer will not store the password.

You might see if deleting your cookies and try again may help in case it's just a corrupted cookie at fault.

I assume you have cookies enabled. Possibly didn't delete all cookies for the site?

In addition, double check in Credential Manager to see if you may already have eightforums.com listed in there. If so, remove it to start fresh.

Well, I'm not sure what else to try other than seeing if completely resetting IE may help.
