Not quite sure how to describe this so attached is an image of the Bing/WebSearch bar I am having a problem with. The problem is that, when scrolling up or down through search suggestions, scrolling up/down is every-other line instead of every line. I don't have this scrolling problem anywhere else nor in MyMSN via Google Chrome.
I switched to Google Chrome but, as much as there are pros and cons to both browsers, I prefer IE.
Here's what I've done so far (not necessarily in this order):
Reset IE to defaults.
Switched PC Settings' Mouse and Touchpad's Roll the mouse wheel to scroll between "multiple lines at a time" = 1 and "One screen at a time" which seemed to solve it but then goes right back to skipping lines.
Verified that Control Panel's Mouse's Vertical Scrolling's "Roll the wheel one notch to scroll" is set to 1.
I believe this is what you need to know but I'm sure there's more:
Win8.1
IE 11 version 11.0.9600.17239 (set to automatically install new versions)
May I suggest an easier method of searching with Bing > WinKey/S from anywhere or tapping/mousing the magnifying glass at the top right on Start Screen will bring up the Search Bar in the "Everything" mode > Type what your looking for > Press Enter key > A page will appear with results > Push on a result and your default browser will automatically open to the web site. You may always go back the results page for reference. Tapping/mousing the "Results for" in the upper left will take it back to the Search Bar for to refine your search if desired. Or you may start a fresh search and save all search results pages. Very handy feature indeed.
BTW, WnKey/F for file search. WnKey/W for Settings search. WnKey/Q for search using Bing with results in IE.
