    Firefox adobe flash crash

Hey everyone first time poster here on this forum. I have a little bit of a issue I haven't been able to figure out. I'm running Windows 8.1 Update 2 and I'm having a issue where Adobe Flash crashes randomly and get a script hang error. I have uninstalled Adobe flash and reinstalled and wiped cache in firefox and still haven't resolved the issue. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and a possible fix?

    Thanks.
    Joe

    Welcome to Windows EightForums 'jpolacko'!
Happened here a few times lately, not sure what it is! I just keep resetting Firefox til it stabilizes. Gotta be a fix on the way soon!
Also disabled plug-ins to see how performance is.
Bit of a mystery so far.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if it was just me or if this was a mass issue with multiple users. I have already disabled most of all my plugins and addons with no change. I will wait for a update from adobe.

I found out that lately (like in last year or so) Flash and Firefox (I guess some other browsers too) versions updates are slightly off, mismatched and it's best to wait for FF update first before updating Flash. Both of them I set not to update or check for updates automatically because it looked like all the crashes happen at that time.

Yeah but I haven't had any issue's using other browser's. I just notice the script crash in Firefox but I've been noticing it more and more here the last couple day's where it would stop working on certain website's like Charter.net Email and Yahoo.com is where I see the script crash.

Did you update FF (v32.0 came out today) and Flash (14.0.0.179 few days ago) ?

I updated Firefox to v32.0 just a few minutes ago and tried to reproduce the problem and haven't had a script crash error as of yet. So far so good!
