Viewing 2 web pages side by side?

is there way that i can view 2 web pages at the same time?

so would be half screen one page and the other half another page?

im sure i have seen that you can but can not find the way to do it.

You could open your browser on the desktop, resize it to half the screen and then press ctrl+n to get a new window and drag it to the other side... Not very elegant I'm afraid.

In addition to the above. Make sure no other Windows opened except the 2 websites. Right click on the taskbar->Show Windows Side by Side

That was easy with aero.

I use Maxthon browser, pressing F10 toggles split screen:Kari

Open the Desktop version and then open the two web sites in two tabs. Grab the tab with your mouse and pull on it. It will separate into two windows. Then drag the tabs to each side and they will automatically lock into place, each consuming half your screen.

Of course when you go to open the second site you can just right-click on the link and choose, open in new window. Saves you the 'drag apart' step.

You can also redock the windows back together by dragging any tab back to the bar of the other and it will reattach itself into a single browser window. The 'drag tabs apart' works in IE, Chrome, Firefox and probably others.

The automatic resizing to half screen works with any windowed program. You can do the same with Word and Excel or Word and browser window, etc. It's a function of Windows, not the browsers.

If you have Windows 'Snap' enabled and your browser supports 'Tabbed Browsing', I find the quickest way is to grab the browser header and snap it right or left then grab the desired tab and snap it opposite.

You are right - I stand corrected. Tried it on my own 8.1 system now. Should have done that before I spoke. I am sorry. I guess I was misguided by the link.

I like things simple.
I have IE on my taskbar, but I think the same works for any browser.

IE is open, for example, on this site. I select IE again, from the taskbar, with the middle mouse button.

You can then choose the option, as mentioned above, "side by side" or "stacked"

Both windows operate independently.

I have only left click... To right click I have to left click then shift+f10. I've no idea how to simulate a middle mouse button. Buy a mouse perhaps.

Ok. Then right click the taskbar icon, then left click the IE icon on the shown menu.
