    IE11 - Youtube not responding....

    Hello All,

I hope to present you with a problem that can be solved. This problem has been going on for awhile.

I like to stick to using IE11 more compare to Firefox and even more so with Chrome. Every time I access a Youtube Link the page freezes and a message at the bottom would say youtube is not responding. In both metro and desktop IE, The metro one would say Youtube is taking a long time to run a script. If I wait for like a 30 seconds to a 1 minute, the video will run normally and smooth.

This also happens once in awhile on Firefox but Chrome has no problems.

I think I updated all the browsers and plugins when possible. The Nvidia driver is the latest using the auto update thing. I have the following GeForce 340.52 driver:

Have you tried with flash disabled ?
ie11 really does not need it on youtube,
Gear symbol/ Manage add-ons/ disable and close,
Hit the F5 key if already on youtube,

    Thanks TrashZone,

I did some searching about a more user friendly way of dealing with what you mentioned. so I looked in some forums and found about ActiveX filtering which shuts down flash on sites and I can then enable flash on a per site basis.

You can check whether the browser changes Flash to off by default. I think some YouTube videos still need flash player. Or on the contrary, your players are not supported by html5 players. How to Solve YouTube not Responding Problem has listed the common factors and related solutions. You can also click not responding in Internet Explorer 11, Windows 8.1 - Microsoft Community to solve this problem, which is a well-directed method for YouTube not responding on IE11.

Well if its only for youtube, I guess using Flash is not necessary at all since it could lead to the vulnerable.
