Solved Adding "Windows Live Mail" to Windows 8.1 List of programs

Assume I have read a message to which I wish to either post a question or ask for information from the author od the message (whose e-mail address is at the end of the message. I click on the his e-mail address and I get taken to the screen shown in the image attached.

Please note that "Windows Live Mail" is NOT listed as one of the alternatives. Is there a means whereby I can either add Windows Live Mail to the list or to change what happens when I click on the author's e-mail address so that I am taken to Windows Live mail rather than this list of potential e-mail programs?

Hello David,

That is a list of email providers that you have an email account with. "Windows Live Mail" is the name of an email client program, and not an email account provider.

What's the last part of your email address after the @ sign? This would be your email account provider.

The tutorial below can help give you more help on this for now.

Hope this helps for now, :)

Shawn,

in response to your question, what follows the @ sign in my email address is: "comcast.net", but I cannot see anything in your response and a tutorial that indicates how I instruct Windows to use "Windows Live Mail" as opposed to Exchange. (In honesty I haven't given your message and the tutorial more than a cursory look. I plan to give the tutorial a more intensive review. Perhaps I will find what I need there after all.)
