Setting IE home page but losing settings every time

Had a look at Opera but unfortunately it doesn't currently work with Trusteer Rapport, which I use in relation to online banking and don't want to lose, so that's a 'No' for now.

Curiously my partner, whose laptop is exactly the same as mine, does not get this issue with IE. His home page loads perfectly. Will have to see if we have any different settings.

Thank you for all the suggestions, but on reflection I think I'll live with what I've got for now.

Can't see anything in Emsisoft that could be stopping this, and have been using Emsisoft for years with no previous issues like this.

Tried to run gpedit.msc but got a message saying it wasn't a valid command.
