Internet Explorer has stopped working - constantly

Every time I load IE11, I get the following error: 'Internet Explorer has stopped working', and then another pop up to close the program. This has recently started happening, and from my knowledge, nothing has changed, and I haven't installed anything.
I can't get to the tools/settings as the pop up appears before I can even click on anything.

Event viewer has the following details:

Faulting application name: IEXPLORE.EXE, version: 11.0.9600.17126, time stamp: 0x53882e30
Faulting module name: d2d1.dll, version: 6.3.9600.16473, time stamp: 0x528d9db8
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
    Fault offset: 0x0014f8f9
    Faulting process ID: 0x1260
    Faulting application start time: 0x01cfa404617fb434
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
    Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d2d1.dll

    Faulting package-relative application ID:

I have run troubleshooting, turned IE off/on again, made sure it has all the updates, etc. I disabled all add-ons and launched IE and I still received the error message straight away.

I also ran a SFC and noticed the following (I have no idea if these issues are related):
