I have a Gmail account and signed it in on windows mail program
I know that Gmail let me to send 25MB attachment with my emails
When I try to send an email with more than one attachment which is only 7MB at all, I face this error: "problem with windows messenger program, check with your provider for more info"
and also this happens when I try to send them in a compressed folder.
then I have to send them one by one...
what is the problem?

To attach multiple files, hold the Ctrl key while selecting your files.

Welcome to Windows Eight Forums, amkhamse.

Is this the Modern/Metro Store app or Windows Live Mail?

In any regard, the fault message seems to be with limits of your ISP, unless it worked with prior email clients.

Quite honestly I don't have a Google account configured in my Mail app for I closed it out when running 8 and now on 8.1 so to test.

I found this for which Google has limited some features in the app which may include attachment size. Not sure.

How to sync Google services with Windows - Windows Help

Open the mail app > Charms bar > Accounts > to make sure there are no "This account needs attention" warnings. You may have to sign into Google account online to fix. If I remember correctly that should be linked there to your non-MS accounts.

As a test, sign into your Outlook.com account via a browser to try to send attachments there to see if it's limited.

Try sending attachments via a MS account such as Live, Hotmail, etc to see if there are limits, although I have none.

It may be that your ISP may have changed limits. It's strange that you can send compressed one at a time but not multiple. It may be the app, but may be something else.

I did everything you told, but didn't help. there were no warnings in Accounts, and sending attachments with Hotmail had no problem
also outlook.com account didn't have any problem too.
Maybe it's because of my Internet connection's speed. I have just 350kb per second download. It had been slower these days too. Can it be a reason of this problem?

I think it's better to download a gmail app. I'm so lazy to search so long to find the solution :p

Put the files into a .zip folder and attach that folder.

It could be that the Google server is timing out, therefore the message "problem with windows messenger program, check with your provider for more info", but it's usually a "Time out" message. When sending multiple attachments does it run for awhile then you get the message?

I scoured this forum and Bing to no avail on this problem. If the app can send one I don't think it's the app.

I'll keep looking. In the mean time call your ISP with the problem.

Hi
I called my ISP and they told there may be a problem with wireless modem.
I restarted my modem and the problem didn't fixed. I'm going to borrow a friend's modem to check what will happen.

Just my opinion, quit using the Microsoft mail & just use Gmail.
I have no problems attaching multiple attachements.
Large or small with my Gmail account.

Just a suggestion. :)
