Somehow when I downloaded a file, I must have omitted to un-tick a box. Now whenever I open Internet Explorer or Firefox or Google Chrome, it opens this site - "http://isearch.omiga-plus.com/?type=hp&ts=1403615505&from=sfpsnew1&uid=HitachiXHDS721050DLE630_MSK423Y227770G27770GX"
I have tried to delete by changing my home page in the Tools, Options, etc., but to no avail. How can I delete all reference to this site. Help.:sarc:

unfortunately the site appears hacked.
Why do you say that? I just downloaded again and the SHA matches and it works fine.

Welcome to the forums btw :)

Last week my Smart Screen Filter prevented an AdW Cleaner download on two occasions from the official site (ToolsLib).

May have been a false positive or the site may have had problems at that time. Just tried again and everything is fine. But be wary of all freeware downloads.
