Hey mate,

First, make sure you have all updates installed that are listed as important from widows update.

Then, go to Manage add-ons in your IE tools area, and disable ALL of them except flash. Uninstall any that you do not want, need, or use. If you cannot from that window, go to your control panel uninstall programs and remove it from there if available (remember, only uninstall the add-ons that you do not want, otherwise, disabling them will suffice for now).

Update your antivirus program. Scan your computer for malware. Restart if windows update requires it.

Do you still have the problem? You can enable any add-ons that you previously disabled if you need them to run. If it is an antivirus add-on, I would leave it disabled. Let me know if you still have problems with crashings

Since disabling all the add-ons per your suggestion, I have yet to encounter this crash. For now it seems to have fixed the problem and will be back to let you know if anything changes.

Thanks a lot.

Cool! Most add-ons are not needed (except flash!). I often use MS Silverlight, so if you have it, you could set it to enabled. If you have an important add-on you want enabled, try it out for a while to see if it'll crash IE as a way to troubleshoot.

Take care mate
