Is Internet Explorer 11 a safe web browser to use everyday or should one install and use alternatives?

There are no completely safe browsers ( not even "Torr") and IE 11 is pretty "safe" but is also most attacked one.

I use firefox and I put certain addons in it to make it more secure. IE has been attacked too many times and continues to be attacked. I put on noscript addon, Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon, and WOT addon

For the record , I run IE 11 in enhanced mode.
