    Hello Andy,

The scroll bar under Frequent, Favorites, etc... in IE10 Metro would only appear when you hover the pointer over that area, but only if you have enough that they go past the screen.

IE10 Metro - View Favorites, Frequent, and Pinned Sites in Windows 8

    Hope this helps.

    Andy,

From your screenshot, you haven't added any favorites. That's just one you pinned to the Start screen, a 3 Frequent (recent) sites you went to often. You will not have the scroll bar under them yet since you do not have enough listed to go past the screen borders.

The tutorial below can show you how to add favorites in IE10 Metro.

If you add any sites to favourites in metro, it will add that site to Desktop IE and vice versa.

LOL, using OPTION ONE in the tutorial below doesn't pin them to the Start screen. That's just where the option is at to add them to you "Favorites".

IE10 Metro and desktop share the same favorites.

Yes, use option 1 as mentioned above. Or, click in the address bar to highlight what's there. Generally, your Pinned, Frequent, and Favorites will appear. To scroll sideways, click immediately above the address bar. You'll probably still join me in ignoring IE under the Metro/Start menu style even if you get comfortable with how it works.

First tried out IE10 by selecting the IE tile. Did not like the resulting screen. Didn't really see any options anywhere. Migrated IE9 settings from Win7, imported them into IE10 (on the desktop), launched IE10 from the desktop -- able to see the favorites, cookies, etc. Relaunched IE10...
