    Hi there

I think it was me !!! anyway nos success with OE -- couldn't get OE to work with Wine, Thunderbird was "semi-passable" - didn't seem to be able to customize the emails to show in groups like Outlook -- and the fonts took a HUGE amount of playing around with - they required serious work on "mega-De-uglification".

So I'll stick with Outlook 2010 == does what I need and as I run it on a VM I don't have to worry about end of support (which I think lasts until 2020 anyway !!).

    @ARC1020

You forgot these as well !!!!!

    Cheers

    Full IMAP Gmail - Seven

I used OE for many years
    Then used Foxmail 7.0.93 for

preview in 1 click pdf, xls, doc, jpg INSIDE the mail window (like Outlook)... etc
fast search in 2 click for all mails from one sender
open close folders pane in 1 click
    delayed sending
    select which attachments to download
    change accounts order
    change folders order
    different ringtone for each account
automatic different template for each account /send/reply/forward
many macro but very important for automatic replies or mails : %cursor%

but recently I had some problems with gmail synchro

So I bought or tried all
    EM
    Posbox
    The Bat pro
    Mailbird
    last Foxmail 7.2
    Outlook
    Thunderbird beta 30

No one has the ALL «old» Foxmail functions
I use Thunderbird 30 but I do not like it very much (except quick folders move addon)

So if you know one I buy immediatly

    Regards

Ultimately I know I have to give up Outlook 2003. I've already installed Libre Office and started using that instead of the other Office applications.
I actually like Libre office and am putting it on all xpired office 2003 clients that do not need Outlook or do not do heavy usage of office programs

I think WLM looks so similar to Outlook Express. It does have a calendar on it too

Yeah, outlook express was "Express" all right. I'm using Outlook 2013 but rarely, mostly web-mail now. 3 main accounts are always signed in so I get notifications when mail arrives. Outlook became all but mail, the other crap not needed at all.
Could not find anything else good and to my satisfaction.
