Welcome back to Windows EightForums, jennyb7.

Do you have problems with other Store apps?

You may want to try these to fix your Mail app:

    not solved yet

I have read the points you suggested, thanks for your help, I know the Windows 8 is activated, downloaded the trouble shooter which identified a driver problem, used IE to start the computer generally use firefox, and am still frustrated because no mail is downloading on the tile, but is on my login account. so ready to remove the tile and work with the login

    You’re quite welcome.

Ok. Making progress I see. Was it a video driver by any chance?

Did you run DISM and scannow? These would be important before doing anything else in the first tutorial at this point.

    a miracle

after reading all I had to do to try to fix the problem, I decided to leave it, too complicated for me to bother, and today 2 weeks after it first stopped its back working,
