Solved Can't log out of a site where I have just placed an order

tried to log out of a site where I had placed an order. Rang the customer services who told me to click the x on my screen - when I said that that would mean I am still logged in to the site I was told they would log me out their end but I am still logged in. I have switched off and switched on my 8.1 laptop but I am still logged in to the site. Is the prob my end? and how do I log off or is the prob the other end please.

Most sites will have a "log out" link or option somewhere on the page.

For now, see if deleting your cookies may help.

Hi Shawn, tried the "log out" option on the page but couldn't log out. After deleting my cookies I could log out. Thanks
