    Swipe back in desktop IE11


    Wasn't there supposed to be the swipe back option for the desktop version of IE11? I tried finding an option to turn in on in the advanced settings, but don't see anything there.

    Have you tried settings in your (Synaptics?) Touchpad control panel?
    EDIT:
    You could try enabling Three finger Flick, if you have Synaptics.

IE Desktop (Menu bar) Favorites always seem to sort by name. Want to manually shift high usage items to top like I could with IE8. Have disabled Add-ons (Classic IE, Logitech SetPoint, Shockwave) with no effect. Looked in IE options for a sort or drag/drop setting, but didn't see anything.
IE11 does not run in desktop mode except with add-ons disabled. IE11 from Metro page works with no problems.
anyone seen this one? on booting up 8.1, lenovo z410, the first few attempts to use IE11 from the desktop fail. "cannot open page". connection troubleshooter produces nothing. go to APPS > IE and it works fine. after using chrome and the tile app for awhile, IE11-Desktop will gain coherency...
Hi there Example 1) in Google search say GODZILLA 2) after linking to page - the back button just displays a blank screen (Now I'm not sure if this is in configuration - but it never worked like that before -- I got returned to my Google search query). screenshots shown.
It's a minor niggle really, but I'm finding it very frustrating that right clicking on the browser back button doesn't achieve anything - I'm really used to it popping down a list of the previous pages so I can hop back for example to the search engine results list page which I had about four pages...
Solved Getting back to the desktop in General Support
I used to have a desktop shortcut on the taskbar so necessary for getting back there without wading through tons of open apps.. Now I cannot put a desktop shortcut on the taskbar have been trying and failing. If I go to the start tile board and click desktop I just get back to the top open...
Release Preview - I stupidly deleted a .ini file thinking it was spurious and now my Desktop no longer is listed on the Metro Screen. Suggestions? I don't have a restore point unfortunately.
