Solved Unable to access IE11 after the recent Update

Hi,
My IE11 doesn't respond after the Windows 8.1 Update1, I have tried sfc /scannow and Dism command to repair but the result is same, could someone point me at the right direction, Thanks.

Thanks for the links, both Metro IE and the desktop IE won't even start, I have tried everything in your tutorials, no joy at all, I have tried the update1 in both laptops with same results, I will have another go tonight and see.

Yes, agreed :D I have replaced it with my earlier image in this E1-571 and experiment in my older Aspire 5610z with the Update1, Thanks again for your help.

It's very strange, IE11 doesn't respond but FF works without any problem, spoken too soon, very slow FF :cry:

Yes, I have checked for malware and found nothing, getting late, I'm off to bed and try again in the morning :D

Success at last :dinesh: I have stopped windows defender and did the update and works fine, I am now happily re-united with my favourite IE11 :party:

Yes, if it was a third party AV program I can understand but WD surprised me :D

EDIT: Shawn, I had to re-install my backed up copy of Win8 and updated through the Store as my IE11 stopped responding again, now I have to update my drivers, this had been the most difficult update for me, anyhow, I have no complaints as I learned a lot and most importantly appreciate the backup :D
