Fix Built in Flash Player?

Hi,

last week I noticed chrome wasnt displaying both flash files in chrome://plugins/ and because I was having problems even after reinstalling flash several times, I started deleting folders and started playing with the registry

I finally was able to install flash and it works on chrome and firefox, but now I just noticed that it is not working on IE 10 ... it keeps asking me to install it and when I go here Flash Player Help | Flash Player Help and click on check now i get


How can i reinstall the built in flash player?? I think me playing with the registry is the cause of this.

I don't know about ie10 but chrome updates flash player on its own without interaction from the end user.

You probably know what you're doing so I wont tell you to check IE addons

Check that this hasn't been inadvertently enabled?
Disable Flash in IE10

Also, just for look sake, check if your monitor has any device driver updates. May or may not help.

Also

1. Internet Explorer> Tools (or Alt + t)> Manage add-ons (Show: All add-ons) verify that the Shockwave Flash Objects are enabled.

2. From Safety on the IE Command Bar (you may have to right-click the IE toolbar and enable the Command Bar) uncheck ActiveX Filtering.
If that helps, it would be safer to re-enable ActiveX Filtering and make an exception for the affected sites.
