Hi All,

I have Windows 8 which I have been using for 4 months now with little problem.

Last night I noticed the internet address bar does not have previously typed urls there no more, all it has is the start page url. So, when you click on the down arrown at the far right of the screen to select your previously entered address like say www.google.com, it shows nothing. So now everytime I wish to visit a previously viewed page, I have to type in the url.

How can I correct this?

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply, your two screen shots you show are the same as I have at present, all those check boxes are checked.

This was the first place I looked.
I yet to look at your link and see what it shows.

Regards

James

I hope you get it fixed.
I don't know of anything else to suggest except this.
Is your box Unchecked ?

Thanks David.

I did last night install a program on my computer and this was when the issue reared its head.
I have since taken the program off but did not fix this issue I am seeing.

Oh, I did try firefox, the issue does not show itself, so only seems to be IE 10.
So, I may have to switch to Firefox for now until I can resolve.

I could re-install Windows 8 again, that will correct it, but this seems extreme!!!
