Setting up another Outlook acct in different user acct

Iíve created a separate user account in my laptop with Windows 8.1 OS. Actually three altogether. For sake of example here. Account 1 is my main and administrive one. Account 2 is what I created. Third, Account 3, is also created. Account 1 is my personal. Account 2 is for my main business. Account 3 is designated for work jobs.
I have Outlook 2013 in Account 1 which is strictly personal correspondences. I want do a total separate Outlook in Account 2 to handle all of my business correspondences. Do not want to mix business with personal. My question is how do I do this? Iíve looked and googled everywhere. Cannot find any good answer or sources. Microsoft's knowledge site was no help
Outlook I got came with Microsoft Office Suite package. It is one user license. Is this still valid to have multiple Outlook accounts all still on same laptop? That I couldn't find the answer.
Please help. Also, try not to blow me away. Iím still fairly new to 8.1 after being on Windows 7 for years. Still having trouble working my way around 8.1. Stupid charms which is another story.

    Thanks much in advance.

    Sure! Really easy.

All email accounts will be separate if you have separate computer user accounts for login. Just set each one up on each account separately, according to the correct user account that you want associated with your email account.

Here is how to set up an email account on outlook: How to setup an Internet email account in Outlook 2013

    Dusty,

Thanks but the link you provided didn't help. Just can't get Outlook working inside Account 2. One time I had it and then it "crashed" when I couldn't get to read a separate PST file. I uninstall and reinstall Outlook in Account 2 to no avail. I think it had an issue of the PST residing inside the Account 1 althought it should not make any difference where the file is. When I had Windows 7 on previous laptop, I had Outlook 2003 in Account 1 while Outlook Express each for Account 2 and 3. Worked beautifully. Unfortunately Outlook Express doesn't exist anyone with new versions.

Tried again just now. Suddenly I saw the following error window and here what it said, verbatimly:

Cannot start Miscrosoft Outlook. Cannot open Outlook Window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The operation failed.

Any ideas? Anyone else experienced these kind of issues I'm having? Just hate Window 8.1.

Yea, what I would do would be to repair outlook. In control panel under uninstall programs, click office and select repair. [Edit] you actually have to click 'change', and then select 'repair' [/edit]

Restart. Follow this link to see about fixing the PST errors: Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost) - Outlook - Office.com

Let me know if you still have problems, and we'll continue. Also, sorry for the late reply, I wasn't getting email for some reason

For some strange reason I encountered a system error having a code 30126-4. Looked it up on Microsoft's website and it suggested using their Fix It program. Supposely to fix whatever error may be embedded or hidden somewhere in OS while uninstalling? I don't really know. All I know it uninstalled entire Office app. Reinstalled the app upon throwing in the CD. I got back my Outlook back in Account 1 to where it left off like it never left. It remembered somehow because I didn't even have to reconfigure email account in the Account Settings under File tab.

Tried to set up Account 2 again with no avail. I am right back to same error window pointed out in Post #3 "Cannot open..."

I think I need someone with an expertise to come online via remote access to see the problem first hand. Does Microsoft tech support offer this kind of assistance?

You'll have to give them a call, I'm sure they do.

You already used the fix it tool here, but it might be helpful anyway (so no need to use the fix it again): Office 2013 or Office 365 installation error "Something went wrong"

^ Wait, do you mean this? ^

Lima, did you read through this particular tutorial yet? It is all the same as 2010, just Office is called 15, and so is the folder it has you look for.

*Edit* I found a better tutorial specifically for office 2013: Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost) - Outlook - Office.com

Please use this tutorial and let us know how it works for you ^
