I have Opera set as default in all 3 settings.

    Perhaps reinstall Opera ?

Hi, thanks for reply, I've tried uninstalling, different versions from latest down to older versions with no luck what so ever, opera just does not show in default program list and just repeats the same issues I've already posted images for, dam annoying

    Sorry I couldn't help better.

    Try running this batch file.
    It runs dism & sfc.

After downloading it, right click it & click Properties & Unblock it.

Then right click it & choose Run as administrator.

When dism finishes, press the space bar to get sfc going.

    These scans might help.

If David's last suggestion doesn't work, then you can simply associate the two main filetypes (htm and html) with Opera directly.

I'm hoping Opera will show up there when you select a filetype and click "change program" to browse for it. Note that I have altered my settings to use Firefox portable so it can be done.

    Good luck,

UPDATE: I see that David had already provided the same view so I yield to his previous recommendation.

Wow... nobody is really helping with this problem.

I have the same issue in that I can't get http/https protocols to associate with anything but IE, and I'm running Superbird. This is really irritating.

Is there some way to add a program, any program, especially when not installed under Program Files, to the list of Registered Default programs so that I can set defaults for it?
