Can't email through Chrome or Firefox

I just got a Dell with Win 8 and touchscreen. It was fine for a couple days. A half hour ago when I started it again I am unable to send email using yahoo mail in either of my browsers. I can check email fine and if I click the email in the inbox I can read it fine. When I click the onscreen right or left arrow to go to next or previous email nothing happens. When I click compose I go to the draft screen and all is well until I click Send. Nothing happens. I can send fine through my hotmail account. I can't get it to work clicking on any of the other folders in yahoo mail either.

So, is this a temporary issue with yahoo or something I need to figure out about Win 8? I've been in Mac land for the last 3 years or so. Also, the touchpad is way too sensitive. I turned palm rejection to the highest setting but it still jumps all over and does things I don't want it to do. Any suggestions on that as well?

I'm not sure what the problem was but apparently it was a Yahoo problem. It's working again now.

I thought so, because it is strange to have all browsers experience the same problem. Congrats
