So the other day I was trying to uninstall some fluff programs from my computer (after apparently downloading some pretty violent malware) and I accidentally uninstalled a program that I guess helped web images load up properly. Since then I've been getting everything from broken image links, to adds and forum posts with jumbled images and even this weird static cut-off thing. Help me find/replace the program please? Sure, it's bearable but it's ugly and driving me nuts.
I use Google Chrome for a web browser. Here are some screenshots for the problem I've been having:

Some malware can be pretty combative. The best thing to do is to reinstall, because there are hordes of things that you would need to go through to try and get everything set up proper again.
Consider in the future being extra cautious online. do not go to unknown websites. Use an antivirus like Avast! (speedy and good at catching baddies). Do not open unknown email messages or suspicious messages from known senders.
