Solved Lost mail

Hi all can anybody please tell me why my mail keeps disappearing i use the normal mail app in win 8.1 and i keep moving mail i want to keep to a private folder but although i check to make sure it is there at a later date it is not,
I only use this folder to store mail that i want to keep so it is not me deleting them by mistake.

Seen people have a similar issue, this post helped them out:

1. Open Mail App. Press Windows Key + C key.
2. Click on Settings. Click Accounts. Click on your account name.
3. Under Download email from, select Anytime.
4. Wait for few seconds and you should see more mails in your inbox.
