I had a wee look around and could not really find anything about the availability or possibility to have IE!! on windows8?

I had quick look
here at the changes from 8Pro to 8.1Pro and there are a couple of things which I might benefit. For a start I have changed the OS's handling to the old desktop with 'Classic Shell' which seems to me the right way for work. So in this case I would not benefit much. The only other change I would consider is the better multi monitor support and that is possibly not helping me either with my old Dell 2405FPW.
If 8.2 or 9 is bringing more benefit I'll be keen to check out.
Everything seems to work nicely now and I can do with IE10(instead of IE11) as the other browser I use a lot is PaleMoon.

The important thing is that you are happy using Windows 8, but IE11 will not be available for it.
