Chrome not opening unless run in administrator

My Chrome has been having some problems recently. It's on and off but it won't open unless I run it as administrator. I've been looking for answerers but have had no luck. An answerer in English would be useful! :D

Thank you for your help! But unfortunately neither of these options seem to be working.. :confused:

There are a couple things you can do, for a kinda useful solution.

1. Try to open Chrome > Go to task manager > find Chrome > right click > end task. Your chrome will now open, until you close it.. Then you must repeat the process

This works for me, but only as a temporary fix. I have to do it every single time. But when I'm desperate it's useful.

2. Change yourself to admin > un install chrome > reinstall chrome

Works a treat. Unless you're unable to change yourself to admin.

Sorry these aren't the best fixes, but it's all I've got so far.

I actually created a new user account on Windows (the one I was using was a carry-over from Win7) and everything worked for me! Hope that works for you!

I am able to switch over to admin so it's fine for me. But I'm glad that you got something sorted out!

I had this exact same problem. It took me many hours to figure out the solution but I literally just figured it out. You have to uninstall and reinstall the program BUT you must also go and delete your "Google" folder after you uninstall chrome. I don't know what information is left in the folders after you uninstall the program but I just reinstalled it and now it works fine.
