Anyone know an easy way to copy URL links in Internet Explorer? In Chrome I just right click on a picture like in Farmville and I get the option to copy LINK URL or IMAGE URL. Can you do that in IE too? Chrome is my favorite but I've been having trouble with it in Farmville.

The equivalent of Copy Image Location in IE is Copy Shortcut and Paste Shortcut in the context menu.

Where is the context menu? I right clicked and there was no option for copying short cut. This is IE 11 if that matters.:(

OK I googled it and found the answer here: Internet Explorer Context Menu - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Help Forums

But it wants me to mess with the registry... I hate to do that. Anyway I saved it before reading that I was to save it to desktop. Ugh.

I hate messing with the reg.

You could use FF or chromium or Opera. I have chromium, opera and 3 flavors of Firefox installed in addition to IE. Also you may want to look at MaxThon. It uses the IE engine but has extensions. It had multiple tabs years ago. I used it quite a bit several years ago. Many extensions are written by "ordinary" users. There was kind of a fun community for it. At last back then the feeling was open-minded and casual.

Here is my problem with Chrome (which I love). I play Farmville and sometimes I need to lock a post to someone who is needing something in particular. So when the window comes up, I right click and select "copy URL link" and then I paste it on the person's wall. Often lately in Chrome the window that I need comes up and is blank and the little circle just spins and spins. Sometimes it will catch after a few moments and other times not at all. I've left it spinning for 15 to 20 min. in hopes that I could save it. I don't know why Chrome doesn't like my Win 8. Never had that problem with 7 or Vista. It also doesn't close properly. After I close it, If I try to reopen it right away, I have to go to the task manager, stop it, and then open it. So that's why I'm looking for a good browser for Farmville and one that has an easy way to copy URL links.

I d/l Maxthon but I couldn't figure it out... it copied links from one of my other browsers and I just didn't have time to adjust it. Firefox is out as I use that one for my private FB account for family and friends. I use another browser for my games and this way I don't have to keep signing in and out of fb.
