copy URL links in Internet Explorer

Anyone know an easy way to copy URL links in Internet Explorer? In Chrome I just right click on a picture like in Farmville and I get the option to copy LINK URL or IMAGE URL. Can you do that in IE too? Chrome is my favorite but I've been having trouble with it in Farmville.

The equivalent of Copy Image Location in IE is Copy Shortcut and Paste Shortcut in the context menu.

Where is the context menu? I right clicked and there was no option for copying short cut. This is IE 11 if that matters.

OK I googled it and found the answer here: Internet Explorer Context Menu - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Help Forums

But it wants me to mess with the registry... I hate to do that. Anyway I saved it before reading that I was to save it to desktop. Ugh.

I hate messing with the reg.

You could use FF or chromium or Opera. I have chromium, opera and 3 flavors of Firefox installed in addition to IE. Also you may want to look at MaxThon. It uses the IE engine but has extensions. It had multiple tabs years ago. I used it quite a bit several years ago. Many extensions are written by "ordinary" users. There was kind of a fun community for it. At last back then the feeling was open-minded and casual.

Here is my problem with Chrome (which I love). I play Farmville and sometimes I need to lock a post to someone who is needing something in particular. So when the window comes up, I right click and select "copy URL link" and then I paste it on the person's wall. Often lately in Chrome the window that I need comes up and is blank and the little circle just spins and spins. Sometimes it will catch after a few moments and other times not at all. I've left it spinning for 15 to 20 min. in hopes that I could save it. I don't know why Chrome doesn't like my Win 8. Never had that problem with 7 or Vista. It also doesn't close properly. After I close it, If I try to reopen it right away, I have to go to the task manager, stop it, and then open it. So that's why I'm looking for a good browser for Farmville and one that has an easy way to copy URL links.

I d/l Maxthon but I couldn't figure it out... it copied links from one of my other browsers and I just didn't have time to adjust it. Firefox is out as I use that one for my private FB account for family and friends. I use another browser for my games and this way I don't have to keep signing in and out of fb.

I've found better luck with chromium snapshots than chrome. Get the snapshot zip file. Every time you try a different snapshot, save the old folders where the exe and settings are. That way you can back it off if you get a bad snapshot.

It's a huge page. Give it a minute to load:

I can't use the native Windows 8 copy/paste. Copy works, but when I paste, I get the "waiting" cursor, then get dumped to the Metro screen. So far, the only way I can move or copy things is with CFiShellToys or TeraCopy, and I installed these only after the Native Windows 8 Copy/Paste kept failing....
Hello, I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit and have had this issue on both 8 and 8.1. I have a directory named Downloads which I put into the Windows Explorer favorites list. This link though will randomly get changed back to the default Downloads virtual directory, the one with the blue arrow...
I am just wondering if there is a way to edit the list of items that appear on the drop down menu of "move to" and "copy to" on the explorer ribbon? Some items seem to appear themselves but I do not know how they got there, how I could remove them and add others? Does windows learn what...
Since yesterday I find that in Internet Explorer (on the Desktop) SOME links on many websites don't work when I click them. If I open the same pages in Google Chrome, the links work fine. Does anyone know of a current Internet Explorer issue that might be causing this?
Copy menu works ok, but unable to paste because it throws me back briefly to the Metro window. This behavior doesn't work consistently but I have to log out and back in in order to correct it. Even reboot doesn't help. Note: this is the File Explorer, not the internet browser.

Hi, all. I was thrilled to see MS finally added the "copy path" function to the ribbon. To my dismay, it has suddenly stopped working. I can't think of any significant changes I've made to my system (no clipboard extenders recently added, etc.). If I use the SHIFT+right-click copy as path shell...
