The latest versions of Internet Explorer can offer an enhanced HTML5 experience to users, since they can take advantage of hardware capabilities of the computer they are running on.

And when complemented by touchscreen capabilities in Windows 8, things get even more exciting, at least this is what the Redmond-based software giant would have us believe.

On the drive test website it put in place for the latest IE flavors, Microsoft made available a GPU-powered snow storm for those who would like to have a look at how the browser can perform when 1000 snowflakes assault it.
