HI. This is bout why IE11 in metro mode is so slow going backwards. I have a Surface RT 8.1. I use IE11 both in metro mode and on the desktop. Because I have a comparatively slow broadband (2.5 at best) I am used to many websites taking a few seconds to load. That's ok. On the desktop version of IE11, when I want to go back to a previous webpage it does it really fast as if it is holding it in cashe or something. But in metro it is as if it holds a copy but needs to reload it. It thus takes thee same time to go back as originally loading it first time. Its the difference between the performance between metro and desktop versions of IE11 that is intriguing and at times frustrating as I work within the metro environment as one should if you buy a surface. Thanks for any support you can offer. Regards john
