Microsoft live accounts - alias - not showing mails

I have a live account with this email: name at server.com with all my mail (thousands)
then i created an alias: realname at Outlook.com
and this is now set as the primary alias

this means that the mail app in Windows 8.1 (login: name at server.com) defaults to: realname at Outlook.com

and I can't see any of the mails (from: name at server.com) in the mail app.

How do I get this to work ??

let me try to understand this
you set up two accounts using the same username?
like john@server.com and john@outlook.com?

confirm this first before we go on
