IE 10 and 11 location service grayed out

Under internet options>privacy>location, I can't select never allow websites to use your location. I assume because windows 8 has location services(in my case I think they are turned off) this is why I can't select this option. Does this sound correct to you all?

If you selected the option to not allow your location to be shared during setup, then that explains why it is greyed out in IE. Mine is the same way so, in essence, you have already answered your own question. Now, you can try turning it back on from here (if you wish) but mine is permanently greyed-out there as well because I actually removed (eg, disabled) the location service entirely. Good luck.
