Solved email attachments

when I try to send an attachment,i get sales a pitch for wd.do I need to buy this app and would I be able to send email attachments.

I have no idea what wd.do is; however, you should not need to do anything to send an email attachment if you can already send emails. What email client are you using and can you describe how you are attempting to make the attachment. Specifically, are you trying to attach from within the client or via the "snd to" function? Please be detailed in you response.

BTW, is this a carryover from your previous attempts to do the same thing? If so, why didn't you just continue with that thread because I was ready to help you with Thunderbird?

hi,thanks for the offer of help.I gave up on Thunderbird,i forget the reason but I still couldn't send attachments.WD is western digital its an app connected to Microsoft windows 8.when I click to attach a document to email wd fills the screen and says I need to install there app. to make it possible to send attachments.i just received a western digital external hard drive in the mail and will set it up tonite.I'll see what happens.I can try to send email attachments 3 ways thru my Canon scanner with one click scanning,or thru windows 8 fax and scan or thru email as I am creating a letter.My email client. I'm not sure what you are asking but I use Time Warner,and on the start page the tile I think is windows mail,also I have a short cut of outlook on my desktop page plus gmail.

The email client is the specific program you are using when you try and make the attachment. For example, here is how I do it in mine (which is Thunderbird BTW):

How do you make a screen shot.

I opened my scanner program,and clicked attach to email,it scans and opens this window.the heading says,this pc-pictures-mp navigator ex-2013-10-25.i double click on the thumbnail picture and page turns into the WD image.i am currently uploading the wd external hard drive I suppose it is doing a full copy as it is taking an hour and still going.
