Blurry arrows in bookmark menu in Mozilla Firefox for windows 8.1 on 2 laptops and 1 PC after store upgrade. That said there were 2 pro versions and 1 standard version respectively.

I'm running Firefox 24 and also Windows 8.1 Pro. I do not have that issue. So are you using the latest FF version? If not, I would consider upgrading to the FF24.

Check your FF cleartype settings to make sure they match mine:

    Type in address bar: about:config
Click through the "OK, I'll be careful warning"
Search for cleartype in the search box
    Compare your settings to mine
Adjust yours to match mine (if necessary)

    Good luck.

Mine is the same as yours. Something I forgot to mention is that it works on a 100% DPI but that's all, 125% and 150% no go. I had a fiddle changing the available settings, but couldn't come up with anything much at 100% - not enough adjustments available.

Oh yeah, I would say that was one very important piece of information you failed to include. Mine looks blurry too at magnified sizes so good luck.

Who wrote this scribble on my thread - its my decision to mark it as solved - any one with half a brain can see it is a common problem with firefox and will probably be fixed in their next version.

I just upgraded today to Windows 8.1 and found this error now in Mozilla latest version 24, any way to fix this ?

Looks like the arrows are in different scale or size.

By the way this problem also apply to Mozilla Thunderbird latest version 24.1.0

Hi there, I am using Firefox 20 and lately when I open a new window it will switch back to the previous window in about a second or so. The new window appears in the task bar and when clicked will stay selected. Seems odd to me. Any ideas?
