    struggling with Windows Live Mail

Hi, I am struggling with Windows Live Mail. I tried to import my contacts using a csv file however there is no way in the Metro Mail apps that provides importing. so I deleted metro downloaded essentials 2011 and installed it thru the desktop got my contacts etc. then couldn't send. so I redownloaded the metro apps for mail. now I see your link here to download the latest release?
I went back to windows 8 pro. brand new machine and I tried blue release but it didn't like G-Mail.
so I took the machine and reloaded factory settings. then upgraded it to Pro.
I want mail where I can import my contacts and do some feature settings. link it to G-Mail.
    can you help?

    latest release of essentials

I downloaded the link but chose to install the whole download.
Got an error message at the end WLDlog.dll missing try re installing
Didn't work as it said that it was already installed.

then I powered off the machine and the after turning it back on I tried installing again.
error message this time WLDcore.dll missing. try re installing.

I then did a system restore which went back to just before the first install.
I am back where I was before. Windows live still does not work. You cannot add contact list from a csv file.
I looked in the control panel to see what was installed. there is no windows essentials of any version.
I don't know how Metro works.
earlier I had essentials 2011 installed and working from the desktop and did have my contacts imported to that version. I want to work with Metro but have not found anything that can explain it.
I had the preview running until I started having problems with G-Mail and IE 11 so I went back to factory install
    and upgraded back to Pro.
